I got ribs(2) and chicken. It was great!!!!!! The Mac and cheese was like your mommas! And the collard greens was from Thanksgiving!
Unexpectedly great!
Can't wait to order again! -

Honestly in between 2 and 3 stars for their bbq.
I had the brisket and fries. The brisket was dry, lacking smoke ring and all around average at best. The French fries were very good. Had a bunch of flavor and were crispy.
They have a couple sauces on the counter, spicy which is a hot sauce more or less something sweet and a chipotle type. They were fine... if you're a huge bbq guy, try somewhere else. If you just like meat and aren't real finicky give it a whirl -

Let's just say curiosity brought me here to Joe's Grill, but once I walked through the door and saw who was running the establishment, I was suddenly filled with much skepticism that had me thinking, "Do they really know how to make BBQ?"
Located along Federal Highway, Joe's Grill is a small restaurant that offers lunch and dinner via dine-in, take-out, and delivery. Their menu consists of house smoked meats & fish, chicken wings,
meat platters, sandwiches, sides, party/family meal pack, cold drinks, and beer & wine. There are adequate stool and booth seating for customers who want to dine-in. I was warmly greeted by a friendly female who took my order of 1/4 chicken which comes with one side (macaroni & cheese). I also added another side (potato salad) to the order. Now I haven't eaten barbecue food in years, so when the female showed me the food in the container, I just prayed that I would like it. Here's my take on the food:
* Potato salad - I'm more drawn to southern style potato salad, but their version was pretty tasty.
* Macaroni & cheese - Looked kind of plain and had a bland taste. Their mac & cheese wasn't cheesy enough.
* Chicken - Was the best part of the meal. The chicken was really tender and the sweet & tangy BBQ sauce complemented it very well.
I'm gonna have to agree with Yelper Steven L. who stated, "If you're looking for good old fashioned southern BBQ - keep on looking cause it's not here." Should've took my $8 and spent it on KFC. Don't think I'll be back here anytime soon. -

I visited from NC so we know BBQ and this is very bad. 1st lets start with the worst brisket I have ever had. It was like shoe leather. Parts of it was inedible. The whole chicken was dry but not as bad as the brisket. The ribs were just ok and the wings were actually good. Shockingly the best thing in the joint is the rice and black beans. I make pretty good bbq with real wood and great smoke and this reminds me of my trial and error days definitely not what a BBQ restaurant should be selling.
